Family owned business with over 20 years of experience. My father Gumer began his career in landscaping over at the Cutting Edge in Palatine 20 years ago. I started working alongside him at 12 years old when he was doing side jobs and actively working with him at the Cutting Edge.

It all began when my father was gravely injured in 2022 and was unable to work for the year. Prior to his injury, we were still doing side jobs on the weekend and I was going away for college. Leaving just didn’t feel right in my heart, I had step up for my family. I decided to continue what we were starting because he never gave up on us. Though it was extremely difficult having to deal with it all alone, he was still by my side guiding me through the work process while still on the wheelchair. I admire his work ethic and that’s why it’s my duty to continue what we started. I have faith that the Man up above will gives us grace through our hard work and dedication. I will never give up on my family just like how he never did. I established Gumers Landscaping in 2024, I take pride in being his son continuing his legacy with hard work and integrity.
